Photo-graphie lorsque l&#8217;image originale issue de l&#8217;appareil num\u00e9rique ne sert que de support, ou de matrice \u00e0 des recherches graphiques (cf. galeries \u00e9tourneaux). <br \/>Le nom Pictys r\u00e9sulte de la rencontre de la racine \u00ab <em><strong>pict<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0\u00bb que l\u2019on retrouve dans une multitude de mots relatifs aux images dans les langues occidentales (du \u00ab\u00a0picture\u00a0\u00bb en anglais issu du normand, au vieux fran\u00e7ais \u00ab\u00a0picturer\u00a0\u00bb (peindre)), et de <em><strong>Ys<\/strong><\/em>, nom \u00e9voquant la Bretagne et plus sp\u00e9cifiquement sa mythique cit\u00e9e engloutie.<br \/>Ce site est donc avant tout d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux images prises en Bretagne lorsque la mati\u00e8re ou les sujets ont inspir\u00e9 l\u2019auteur de ces lignes. On y trouvera des galeries inspir\u00e9es par la magie d\u2019une enfance pass\u00e9e dans les Monts d\u2019Arr\u00e9e, d\u2019autres consacr\u00e9es aux multiples aspects de la Bretagne c\u00f4ti\u00e8re, et reflets d\u2019une obsession jamais assouvie, d\u2019autres images d\u00e9di\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019insignifiant par la taille (lichens, \u00e9corces, bord\u00e9s, etc\u2026).\u00a0 Mais comme \u00e0 chaque fois qu\u2019il est question de fronti\u00e8res,\u00a0 ces derni\u00e8res sont faites pour \u00eatre franchies. L\u2019eau et le vent ne peuvent gu\u00e8re \u00eatre contenus tr\u00e8s longtemps. Aussi, lorsque la d\u00e9couverte d\u2019autres pays, d\u2019autres villes,\u00a0 d\u2019autres cultures et d\u2019autres langues est venue enrichir la palette des \u00e9motions, des couleurs et des tonalit\u00e9s, la tentation d\u2019en saisir quelques bribes a \u00e9t\u00e9 la plus forte.
